founded by 11 subscribers to Swingtime Magazine. Its
sole purpose is to promote good music by sponsoring concerts that

We hold the
events on Sunday afternoons and charge a minimum donation of $15 (only
$5 for students). The concert by the featured artist runs from 4-6 PM,
and it's followed by an open jam session from 6-7 PM. Any
instrumentalists and singers in the audience are invited to sit in. We
always select a venue that offers food and drink.

Swingtime
Jazz Society present internationally acclaimed
Italian violinist
Luca Ciarla
and his quartet for a special concert at
7:30 PM on Saturday, June 23, at the Van Dyck Restaurant, 237 Union St,
Schenectady. Ciarla will be in North America to perform at the prestigious
Montreal Jazz Festival, as well as festivals in Ottawa, Grand River, Rochester,
Dayton and St. Paul, among many other performances.
Admission is $15. Make
